CLIENT FEEDBACK

“Christopher transformed our basic 60’s weatherboard to an amazing beachside family home. From concept to completion, he was always available for consultation. He made use of the natural environment to provide the “outside in” type of living we enjoy. Christopher considered our busy growing family’s need by creating a flowing open plan home with just enough definition to provide space for us all. The finishes throughout the home give a sense of continuity and high design but remain with comfortable family living in mind. A prerequisite of our rebuild was adequate storage, this was done without detracting from the appeal of the home and again portraying a strong sense of design. Thank you CG Design Studio for creating an amazing family home.”

“I hired CG Design to decorate my studio in the colourful inner Sydney suburb of Newtown. I wanted a design that encapsulated the eclectic and original style of Newtown, at an affordable price point. I had viewed Chris’s work when I lived in Brisbane, and some friends who worked in the design industry highly recommended him due to his experience in unique residential projects.

Newtown is such an amazing place to live with colourful characters and never-ending entertainment and I needed a home that reflected this lifestyle. My home is a small and functional studio which required a keen sense of spatial awareness to incorporate defined living, eating and outdoor socializing spaces. Chris brought a mixture of soft and hard textures, creating depth with pops of colour through knitted woolen throws and geometric patterned pillowcases. My kitchen includes a raw hardwood mobile island with adjustable stools, which I can couple with my outdoor furniture on my compact balcony. Another hard wood multi-purpose chest has been used to provide me with more storage and seating, and to soften my balcony.

Overall, Chris has done an amazing job to fulfil my brief and give me the home that matches so well to my surrounds.”

“ Lee Hecht Harrison initially engaged the services of CG Design Studio to assist in selecting colours, materials and general decoration overlay of our new office premises. It quickly became clear that Christopher could bring to the table a wealth of ideas enabling better use of the space and a much better design flow than had already been developed by the initial designer.

Christopher was able to work with our global branding guidelines to create a professional, stylish and functional working space with no idea too small and lots of cost saving solutions. When it came time to the build, Christopher played a key role in liaising with our builders, demonstrating a strong knowledge of the construction industry. He has a solid understanding of construction materials, what will work best in the space and was integral to ensuring a high quality finish. Above all, Christopher and his team were reliable, easy to work with, and always had their ‘finger on the pulse’.

I have already recommended Christopher’s work to associates and friends and would never work through another build, redecorate or renovate without his expert guidance. ”
